Event Summary
Students who have a career commitment to the field of TESOL and who have been formally accepted into the TESOL Certificate program (stand-alone, master’s, or PhD) or who hold the Certificate and are current students, are encouraged to apply for this scholarship of approximately $2,000, funded by the Robert Henderson Memorial Endowment Fund. The scholarship can be used to attend conferences in the field of TESOL, to purchase books or equipment to assist you with your research or studies, to help with tuition, or to help fund an experiment. Applications, consisting of a 1-2 page essay explaining why the field of TESOL is important to you, what you anticipate doing with the scholarship if awarded it (please include a budget), and a letter of support from a faculty member are due to Dr. Dawn E. McCormick by Monday, December 4, 2017.
