Abstract
for this Friday's colloquium (tomorrow) we will have presentations by participants in the Directed Research program coordinated by Jevon Heath and the Linguistics Lab directed by Melinda Fricke.
The Directed Research program provides a hands-on opportunity for undergraduate students to learn about linguistic research, by working with faculty and graduate students on active research projects. As reporting one’s findings is part of the research process, several participants will be presenting a summary of the projects they were engaged in over the course of the Spring 2019 semester, along with their role in those projects and reflections on the program.
