The thought of entering the academic job market can be intimidating, but with proper preparation and organization, the experience can be enjoyable. The current workshop will cover a range of topics helpful for the academic job market: preparing materials, searching job lists, submitting applications, performing Skype/phone interviews, and interviewing on campus. The workshop will be delivered for students from a range of experience levels and will include tips for students early and later in graduate studies. Material will be presented for approximately 30 minutes, followed by 30 minutes for questions and comments. Faculty are encouraged to attend to share their opinions and experiences.
