TiLT Forum: Filipo Lubua present on "Wikipeding: Get your Students 'Published' and increase your language's Digital Presence

Filipo Lubua, Swahili instructo,r will present. at the Technology in Language Teaching Forum. 

While there is a lot that we ask our students to do for their final projects, much of these invaluable projects end within the four walls of our classrooms and within the highly protected LMS’s that we use to administer our language courses. This presentation will show, or rather report, how I use Wikipedia for my students to publish their written final projects. In addition to students being able to author something that can be beneficial in disseminating knowledge, this approach helps to increase the presence of our languages in the digital world.
