Congratulations to PhD Candidate Juan Barrios who will start a tenure-track position in August!

Congratulations to Juan Barrios who just accepted a tenure-track position as Assistant Professor in the Department of Modern and Classical Languages and Literatures at Fresno State University (i.e., California State University, Fresno)!

Juan's dissertation is titled: "The L2 Acquisition of Progressive and Habitual Aspect Through the Lens of Analyticity". It examines the use and acquisition of analytic (i.e., periphrastic) and synthetic (i.e., morphologically marked) forms to fulfill progressive and habitual aspectual functions in Spanish.

Juan's thesis advisor is Dr. Matt Kanwit.
