Pitt Presenters at LSA Symposium on "Black Becoming for Language & Linguistics Researchers"

Graduate student Dominique Branson and Dr. Shelome Gooden will present in a Symposium on Black Becoming for Language and Linguistics Researchers at the Linguistics Society of America 2020 meeting in New Orleans in early January.

Domi will speak about "Students of Color as Teachers: Conversations on Race in Linguistics." Dr. Gooden will speak about "Surviving Academia" from the perspective of having been in a single institution for 16 years, experiencing different career stages along the way.
