The Department now boasts of three Whisper Rooms in our 28th floor lab. These booths are fitted with eye-tracking devices that allow for sophisticated sound research. Undergraduate Ling major Alicia S. has been working all summer under Dr. Melinda Fricke's direction to test subjects on several sound experiments.
