Dr. Amanda Huensch wins 2022 IRIS Replication Award

Dr. Amanda Huensch has received the 2022 IRIS Replication Award for her study “The Effect of Speaker Proficiency on Intelligibility, Comprehensibility, and Accentedness in L2 Spanish: A Conceptual Replication and Extension of Munro and Derwing (1995a)” co-authored with collaborator Dr. Charlie Nagle of the University of Texas at Austin. The award recognizes an outstanding replication study rated for its strength of the justification for the replication, the soundness and transparency of the methods and analysis, the thoroughness of the explanations and discussion.
