Abstract
Dr. Scott Kiesling will present some general advice on:
- choosing a conference
- writing an abstract (short outline -- this could be and has been an entire workshop)
- preparing a talk or poster (and differences between them)
- giving a talk
- presenting at a poster session
- networking (for both the introvert and the extrovert!)
Please bring questions and worries about presentations. Faculty are especially encouraged to attend in order to add further perspectives and wisdom!
