Karen Park is pleased to be an invited member of a UNESCO working group addressing topics around endangered and Indigenous languages. She was invited in December to attend the closing event for the UN International Year of Indigenous Languages in which it was decided the 'year' will now be extended to a decade (2022-2032) - the working group will continue to meet regularly to both address and collaborate on academic and policy goals around indigenous languages.
